Xplor Launches Certified Education Program at Boston Conference
Global Conference to Offer Continuing Education Units to Conference Attendees
Lutz, FL-February 7, 2008- Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced the launch of it's Certified Education Program at their Xplor Document University and Global Conference held in conjunction with the ON DEMAND Conference and Exhibition, March 3-6, 2008 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The program will provide electronic document professionals with Continuing Education Units, for select courses and is open to conference attendees.
The Continuing Education Unit or CEU, is a nationally recognized unit of measurement for noncredit continuing education programs. It is provided in an organized continuing education experience under the sponsorship of an appropriate authority, with instruction, direction and evaluation by qualified personnel. Xplor's program adheres to strict guidelines designed to assure qualified educational offerings, proper documentation and reporting of accredited educational providers.
Continuing Education Units are also a means of documenting the professional development activities an organization offers. For electronic document professionals, CEU may be used to justify attending educational seminars and conferences and to document the learning programs in which they participate. For individuals seeking Professional Certification Points and those seeking recertification points, Xplor Document University CEUs provide a higher point accumulation method while obtaining certified knowledge for career enhancement.
Certified providers will offer Xplor Document University CEU curriculum and that have already gone through the accreditation process and have relevant electronic document background. Only curriculum that has been previously presented and that can be audited will be considered. Curriculum providers will be announced at a later date and those that are interested in obtaining CEU accreditation should contact Paul LeTourneur, EDP and Xplor CEU program manager at paul-xplor@tampabay.rr.com.
