Docucopy receives award in Xerox’s ‘Best of the Best’ annual global contest
Sydney, Australia - 14 September 2011 – Xerox Corporation has announced the winners of its ‘Best of the Best’ contest; the third annual contest designed to honour digital print excellence. Docucopy, an Australian-based digital print company, took home the prize of best collateral for its work using a Xerox Color 1000 Press.
The contest, which called for customers of the Xerox Premier Partners Global Network, involved 24 countries and was judged in the following categories: books, collateral, digital and offset, digital packaging, direct marketing, photo publishing and transpromo.
Docucopy was engaged by Salvo Property Group and Extension Marketing to produce an oversized, high-end photo book to showcase the Group’s luxury residential developments. Docucopy’s book, printed on a Color 1000 Press, aided in the selling of 400 luxury units for the Group and demonstrated the best use of marketing collateral among the contest entrants.
Simon Lane, National Manager for Graphic Communications at Fuji Xerox Australia, said, “Docucopy’s win for best use of collateral is a great indicator of the quality of work that can result using the Color 1000 press. It’s also a wonderful achievement for a local company to win a global Xerox award in such a fierce competition.”
A panel of judges were impressed by the innovation and results-generating applications that truly showcased the capabilities and potential of Xerox digital printing equipment. All winners were selected based on business results, image quality, and use of Xerox technology.
