| SmartSoft To Show New Mailing Software Features for AccuMail frameworks at National Postal Forum |
Enhancements include new Mail Tracking integration and redesigned Label and Envelope Designer
AGOURA HILLS, Calif., March 15, 2013 - SmartSoft will be presenting some of the latest features and enhancements for its postal software solution, AccuMail frameworks Mailers Edition,
at the 2013 National Postal Forum. This year’s event takes place at the
Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California, from March
17-20th and SmartSoft will be located in Booth 610.
With
its modern, multifunctional user interface, AccuMail frameworks Mailers
Edition was designed to make the mailing process easier. It provides a
full-featured, PAVE Certified mailing software solution with full
support for the Intelligent Mail barcode, and a range of time-saving
features, including a three-step mailing assistant, integrated Move
Update processing, powerful list management tools and more. New items to
be displayed at NPF include:
1. Mail Tracking Integration – integrated into the AccuMail frameworks user interface, mailers can now track their mailings using SmartSoft’s MailSpotter
mail tracking service, which uses the IM Barcode to provide a
comprehensive, real-time mail tracking service. Users log into their own
custom-branded portal to view results via a selection of tables, maps
and charts that can be easily shared with colleagues or customers. To
promote the new MailSpotter integration, SmartSoft will be offering 50%
off the regular price for their MailSpotter Unlimited tracking service
at NPF.
2. Redesigned Label and Envelope Designer
– the visual designer tool within AccuMail frameworks has been updated
to be even more user-friendly and provide more control over label and
envelope design. New features include a simple click-and drag feature
that makes it easier to move individual elements around when creating
designs, a multiple Undo and Redo feature, the ability to add indicia to
existing labels, expanded Optional Endorsement Line options, and much
more.
“The
Intelligent Mail barcode has had a huge impact on our industry and will
continue to do so in the coming years,” said Michael Shroyer, President
of SmartSoft. “In some cases change can be seen as a negative, but we
feel once mailers adjust to the new IMb landscape, they will be able to
take advantage of the opportunities it brings, especially in the area of
mail visibility. It has given us the opportunity to provide our
customers with a true, end-to-end mailing software solution, and remove
the guesswork around factors such as regional variations, in-home
delivery dates and more, with up-to-date, actionable data.
“We
encourage mailers that provide services to consider adding mail
tracking for their customers, not only to create another revenue stream,
but to provide additional value to their customer. We feel so strongly
about this opportunity we have created customizable marketing materials
for our customers to help them promote and resell mail tracking for
their shops.”
NPF
attendees can enjoy special pricing of $1995 for the AccuMail Mailing
Suite, which includes the AccuMail frameworks Mailers Edition software,
along with unlimited NCOALink processing and free mail tracking with
MailSpotter for 100,000 mailpieces.
