New RSA WebCRD Configurations Make Award-Winning Web-to-Print Easier to Afford
Rochester, NY, February 1st, 2008 - WebCRDTM, the award-winning Portal to the Print Center from Rochester Software Associates, Inc., has long been regarded as the premier web-to-print solution, but now it is within reach of any enterprise.
WebCRD, the On Demand 2007 "Best of Show" Workflow Software, is now even better! Today, RSA announced the "WebCRD Base" configuration, an affordable configuration of RSA's powerful, yet easy to use web-submission solution. WebCRD Base is available with a suggested retail price of just $15,000.
WebCRD Base is no lightweight "express" edition. Unlike competitors, WebCRD Base delivers a fully-functional Web-to-Print Center workflow including Catalog Ordering for print and non-print items as well as Ad-Hoc ordering. WebCRD Base is truly More Than a StorefrontTM and can fit the bill for most print centers. For larger print centers, or those looking for hands-off automation, RSA offers two additional WebCRD configurations, WebCRD Pro and WebCRD Enterprise System.
"WebCRD Pro" delivers on the promise of an automated lights-out production Print Center, thanks to Auto Ticketing and AutoFlowTM automatic job ticketing and routing based on job characteristics and printer capabilities. WebCRD Pro also adds the Production Dashboard for at-a-glance analysis of jobs and consumables.
"WebCRD Enterprise System" is available for the most demanding Print Centers that also need to manage and account for mainframe, network and/or scan jobs in addition to web submitted jobs. "WebCRD Enterprise System" includes QDirect, RSA's robust Output Manager, and Enterprises Login for LDAP or Active Directory real-time authentication at a cost-savings versus ordering those components separately.
WebCRD Base customers can upgrade at any time to WebCRD Pro or WebCRD Enterprise System, but there is no need to upgrade from WebCRD Base to add options such as Variable Data Template Based Ordering, Enterprise Login (LDAP), Server-side PDF Conversion, Credit Card processing, Advanced Job Cost Estimating, or SurePDF, RSA's genuine Adobe PDF print driver.
This is all part of RSA's effort to make it easier for print centers to embrace Web-to-Print while making it easy for them to grow as their centralized volume increases.
"RSA has been focused on making workflow easier since 1986," recalls Tim Kelly, Sr. Vice President at RSA. "Today, we are announcing new pricing and configurations that make this top-tier Web-to-Print solution available to anyone."
The inclusion of QDirect in the WebCRD Enterprise System makes it easier than ever for enterprises to provide a complete Web and Scan to Print CenterTM solution. Customers can easily and affordably add QDirect.SCANTM licenses for supported Multi-Function Printers. This allows users to submit hardcopy jobs and ticket them electronically, directly at the MFP. Often, especially in the academic environment, users prefer using a copier to a PC, or they only have originals in hardcopy format. This gives users another avenue to electronically submit jobs to the Print Center.
WebCRD is a proven platform to drive volume to a centralized Print Center, with customers reporting increases from 50% to 300% and cost-savings of $1 million per year! With these easy-to-order, easy-to-afford configurations, there is no reason to think WebCRD's power is out of reach. RSA's solutions are available from leading printer equipment vendors.
