Ricoh’s Pro C751 series receive Fogra seal of approval

Ricoh’s colour light production devices – the Ricoh Pro C751 series – have received the Fogra ‘seal of approval’. This qualification confirms that all three digital colour presses, the Pro C651EX, Pro C751EX and Pro C751, will consistently deliver colour quality to rigorous ISO standards.

Under Fogra’s extensive testing process, each component of the series was tested thoroughly, delivering outstanding results. This included extensive analysis of substrate colour and gloss, permanence and light fastness, short and long run repeatability and rub resistance.

The Ricoh Pro C751 series are the latest addition to Ricoh’s Production range of products, sitting along side an already extensive offering of customisable software solutions, services and quick-response service.

Ricoh’s Product Group Manager of Production Printing, Dave Gully said: "This adds further weight to our colour production offering as a strong solution to customers requiring a light production colour digital solution. Coupled with their superior registration and resolution, these models will deliver consistently excellent colour output regardless of run length. Design agencies and marketing teams would also relate to and benefit from the high levels of quality this machine is capable of producing.”

The Ricoh Pro C751 series host further developments on the innovative technology found in the higher-end model, the Ricoh Pro C901. High image quality is achieved through new laser beam technology, ‘VCSEL’ (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) coupled with ground breaking toner usage monitoring technology. They deliver best-in-class output and resolution up to 4800 dpi for precise reproduction. Accurate registration is achieved by utilising proven technology employed in all Ricoh production colour engines, monitoring paper expansion and contraction as a result of the fusing process. New liquid cooling technology optimises developer temperature for improved colour consistency.

“With the addition of Ricoh’s extensive inline finishing capabilities to add further automation, the Pro C751 series offers a digital solution to meet growing demand that is cost effective and delivers excellent results,” Gully said.

“And it’s backed by our team of production experts who are there with customers through every step, from fit-out, to training, integration and quick-response service.”
