AFTER A SUCCESSFUL DAY OF PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS AND TUTORIALS, AIIM AND ON DEMAND EXPO HALLS SET TO OPEN AT 10:00 AM TUESDAY
RR DONNELLEY, INFOTRENDS, US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, AIIM ASSOCIATION AND ORACLE TO BE FEATURED IN KEYNOTE AND GENERAL SESSIONS
PHILADEPHIA, PA, March 31, 2009 – Both AIIM International and ON DEMAND conference tutorials were packed at the start of the four-day event being held this week at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The tutorials were instructed by industry experts, who shared important industry information with over 500 IT executives from national and international corporations. Individuals who attended the pre-conference sessions connected with new and old colleagues and teamed up with the industry experts and seasoned users to review important technical developments.
Both Expo Halls will open this morning at 10:00 am featuring products and services from over 360 exhibiting companies including Xerox, Canon, Konica Minolta, Oce, Pitney Bowes, Microsoft, Oracle, Hewlett Packard, IBM, DocuLabs and hundreds of others. The morning keynotes sessions will feature Mary Lee Schneider, President, Digital Solutions and Chief Technology Officer for RR Donnelley who this week announced the first integrated global digital print platform with new digital high speed color press technology. At the AIIM Conference, John Stenbit, Former CIO, US Department of Defense will discuss the information explosion and how to deal with it.
Together, the two conventions are expected to attract 26,000 industry professionals and bring $17 million to the city of Philadelphia. The events will showcase the lifecycle of a document from creation, management, storage, capture, archiving and printing.
