Transactional print and mail contract with Nordic Insurance provider
Watford, UK, December 19th 2011: Pitney Bowes has been awarded a two year contract extension with Nordic insurance provider If.
The contract – worth in the region of £3.5m per annum – is to provide print services to If, and extends a relationship first formed in 2005.
Key to the award of the contract extension was Pitney Bowes’ commitment to investment in new colour print engines and mail finishing technology at its purpose built Document Solutions Centre in Strängnäs, Sweden. A big part of If’s customer-facing documents are produced at the Pitney Bowes Document Solutions Centre in Strängnäs or on Åland.
If recently re-designed its policy letter for Norwegian customers, transforming these documents into highly-personalised, full-colour communications. Pitney Bowes installed colour-print technology and high-volume finishing equipment during the summer period to be ready for production in mid-September. Pitney Bowes met the tight deadline and If now expects to grow its volume of full-colour communications over the next 12 months.
