print and mail, and Pitney Bowes experts will be running live applications
throughout the five day event.
Wrapper enhancements
New solutions include the Mailstream
Wrapper Productivity System with Envelope Converting Module demonstrating
complex transactional mail applications with changeovers. This innovative
solution – shown for the first time in Europe – uses continuous rolls of paper
to produce high-quality wrap material in-line during the mail finishing
process. This unique technology allows mailers to cost-effectively produce wrap
material with a scalloped flap and window patch, resulting in a finished
mailpiece with the appearance of a traditional business envelope. Integrated seamlessly with the Mailstream
Wrapper, the converting module transforms mail finishing into a continuous
workflow maximize revenue, increase operational efficiencies and speed time to
mailbox.
With this White Paper Factory™
solution, print and mail operations can fully leverage their existing print
assets to add high impact images and relevant messaging to the envelope wrap or
utilize white paper rolls and print in-line after completion of the mailpiece
to increase the value of their customer communications.
Full-colour
Print
The stand will also feature a large
interactive screen showing the latest Pitney Bowes IntelliJet™ 20 Printing
System. This high-volume inkjet print
solution is providing best-quality full-colour production print for a number of
organisations across Europe, with particular interest in the White Paper Factory
approach, which enables firms to replace expensive pre-printed stock with plain
white paper.
Software
sophistication
Dedicated software areas will enable
Hunkeler visitors to fully appreciate the productivity gains afforded by the
latest Pitney Bowes software solutions. The latest version of Pitney Bowes’
respected P/I OfficeMail™ will be demonstrated – a hybrid mail solution that
enables users to harness the power, quality and cost-efficiency of a
purpose-built Pitney Bowes print and mail environment from their own desktop.
Additionally, Pitney Bowes will
demonstrate its P/I™ Output Manager Workflow Management Software, a solution
that optimises the document workflow and frees users from the limitations of
proprietary vendors and data streams.
Intelligent
insertion
Pitney Bowes’ mail insertion pedigree
will also be highlighted in the shape of the latest FastPac DI950 Inserting
System. Designed to make the mailing operation more effective, the DI950
features innovations such as the PacPilot™ user interface, intelligent folding
technology and dynamic envelope aligner meaning less time spent setting up
jobs.
ServiceMax
Efficient and robust pre- and
post-sales service takes on added significance in a tough economic climate.
