TRUMBULL, CONN. August 9, 2010 – Océ, an international leader in digital document management, introduced today the Océ VarioLink® 3200x, a multifunctional printer that enables users to easily accomplish their document printing, copying and distribution tasks in one compact device. This MFP is an ideal entry-level device that features duplex scan, copy and print capabilities. In addition, wireless connectivity and data security features enable users to create, distribute and store quality documents that meet the demands of today's offices.
"Great for workgroups, departments and small businesses, the Océ VarioLink 3200x MFP includes many features to enhance productivity, such as wireless connectivity, a front-facing USB interface for walk-up printing and scanning and a remote print counter that allows users to track usage and printing costs," said Tom O'Neill, Director, Product Operations, Quality & Technology Center at Océ North America, Document Printing Systems. "This powerful, yet simple solution inside a space-saving design is the perfect fit for today's busy office environments."
With print, copy, scan and fax capabilities in one device, the Océ VarioLink 3200x MFP fulfills most office needs in one easy-to-use device so users can complete more tasks in less time. Despite its small size, the device has plenty of power with copy speeds of up to 32 ppm and a copy resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi.
Integrating information in networks to increase productivity and link workflows has also never been easier. This device features flexible connectivity with Ethernet, 802.11b/g wireless, high speed USB 2.0 and parallel interfaces. Improved document handling is also possible with advanced color scanning, internet fax, and scan-to-email, scan-to-FTP and scan-to-network folders.
Safeguarding vital company information is also possible with security features that permit only authorized users to print, copy scan and fax through password protection and PIN authentication. Secure features also ensure that restricted scans are sent to only users with permission and documents are protected with secure receive and print features.
