| New Océ JetStream Full Color Digital Inkjet Printers Bring Faster Speeds to Graphic Arts and Transaction Markets |
Océ JetStream 1400 and 3000 system round out award-winning continuous feed line
CHICAGO – September 12, 2011 – Océ, a Canon Group company and an international leader in digital document management, today announced that the new Océ JetStream® 1400 and 3000 models will be presented in virtual video demonstrations in Booth 1213 at the Graph Expo Conference.
The Océ JetStream 1400 and 3000 digital full-color inkjet printing systems bring the total number of models in the highly successful Océ JetStream family to seven. The endtoend production systems target applications in transactional, direct mail and graphic arts markets and extend Océ’s market leadership in the digital full-color inkjet segment.
With improved speeds and other features, the latest Océ JetStream models round out the production printer line and increase competitiveness against other offerings. The new Océ JetStream 1400 and 3000 printers produce speeds of 328 and 656 feet per minute, respectively.

Expanding Choices Within the Océ JetStream Family
With these additions to the Océ JetStream family, Océ now offers the broadest range of continuous feed inkjet offerings on the market, according to InfoTrends. The inkjet line is divided into four categories to fit different customer needs: compact, twin, dual and wide width configurations.
About the Océ JetStream 1400 Compact System
The Océ JetStream 1400 system is the high-speed model in the Océ JetStream Compact Series, and it offers full-width duplex printing in a single cabinet. It offers a print speed of 328 feet per minute resulting in 1,428 letter-size images per minute. The compact design is ideal for print providers with limited floor space who want full-color two-up duplex productivity in the smallest footprint. This model can print up to six colors per engine: CMYK plus two extra colors for up to six over six output. The two additional ink stations can be spot colors or MICR.
About the Océ JetStream 3000 Dual System
The Océ JetStream 3000 is the newest addition to the Océ JetStream Dual Series line of full-color inkjet printers and represents a 33 percent speed increase over previous JetStream models. bringing the speed up to 656 feet per minute, equivalent to 2,865 letter-size images per minute. Based on the 20.5" web width and dual tower design of the Océ JetStream 1500 and 2200 systems, it includes an updated paper transport design and allows drying at higher speeds without increasing energy consumption. MICR or a spot color is an option via a fifth inkjet station.
The Océ JetStream 1400 and 3000 systems will begin shipping in October 2011.
