NAPL Launches Four New Blogs
NAPL Consultants Share Real-World Insights to Help Printers Compete
PARAMUS, N.J., – May 14, 2008 – NAPL, the not-for-profit management association for business excellence in the printing and graphic communications industry, has launched four new blogs on its Web site, www.napl.org. The blogs, which are written by several consultants and key staff, offer insights into industry trends and best practices.
“NAPL was developed on the belief that shared knowledge is a powerful tool. Blogs are just one of the latest avenues for easy access to experiences, tips and information that can spark new ideas to help print owners run their businesses more efficiently and competitively,” noted Joseph P. Truncale, NAPL president and CEO. “Our blogs feature several of our renowned consultants providing insights and expertise shaped by their consulting assignments.”
The four current blogs launched by NAPL are:
- www.naplbiztrends.org – NAPL’s economic consultants Andrew Paparozzi and Joe Vincenzino offer fresh insights twice a week into the economy, its effect on the printing industry and action steps for progressive leaders
- www.hydingout.org – Written exclusively by NAPL consultant John Hyde, this site features weekly real-world insights from Hyde’s consulting assignments nationwide
- www.businessofprint.org – Mike Philie, NAPL’s sales management and business development consultant, offers weekly updates on how printers can grow their operation through organizational change and improved sales management
- www.naplbizbuzz.org – As they travel around the country, rotating NAPL staff provide information from selected industry trade shows and events
According to Tim Fischer, NAPL executive vice president and head of NAPL’s Print Consulting Group, “Our new blogs allow visitors to tap into the real-world insight our consultants garner on the road through their consulting assignments. This means they go beyond the theoretical and academic to deliver tangible wisdom and real-world experience to their counsel and our new blogs.”
In addition to the new blogs, other dynamic resources available at www.napl.org include:
- “Member Link of the Week”
- Practical business tips found at “Did You Know?”
