CHICAGO, Sept. 9—Kodak and Ricoh Americas Corporation announced at Graph Expo 2007 a U.S. reseller agreement under which Ricoh will offer four KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses to its customers in the in-plant, data center and graphic arts markets.

“NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses give Ricoh customers a proven, high end production color solution that compliments our office and light production color products,” said Carl Joachim, Vice President, Marketing, Ricoh’s Production Printing Business Group. “The combination makes perfect sense, combining Ricoh’s strength in the office market with Kodak’s leadership in digital production color for graphic communications.”

Working through its newly formed Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh will sell the KODAK NEXPRESS 2100, 2100 Plus, 2500 and the new S3000 Digital Production Color Presses. Kodak representatives will work closely with Ricoh’s dedicated direct sales force, focused on production printing to help Ricoh customers implement new digital production color capabilities. Service will be provided by KODAK Service and Support.

Graph Expo visitors can see the NEXPRESS 2500 Press running live at Ricoh’s booth 3046. Kodak will be showing the new NEXPRESS S3000 Press at its booth 1246.

“The relationship with Ricoh provides Kodak an additional and strategic channel to key customer segments in the U.S. market. We believe customers will see significant value in the Ricoh and Kodak alliance. We are excited to develop a solid relationship in market segments beyond Kodak’s traditionally strong position in commercial printing,” said Kevin Joyce, Managing Director, United States and Canada, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group.

The NEXPRESS System delivers unique advantages other digital color presses can’t match. The KODAK NEXPRESS Fifth Imaging Unit Solution allows inline coating, glossing, or a fifth color to expand the printing gamut and reproduce spot colors. NEXPRESS Systems excel proven on a wide range of substrates in many weights and sizes.

NEXPRESS Presses benefit from Kodak’s Unified Workflow solutions and the unique Operator Replaceable Component product architecture, which enables printers to better control their print operations. KODAK MARKETMOVER Business Development Services provide an expanded range of innovative tools, resources, and support to enable NEXPRESS Press customers to maximize their return on investment in new technologies and achieve business growth.
