Patel Digitals Purchases three KODAK NEXPRESS S3000 Presses at drupa to Support its Growing Commercial Printing Business
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY, June 7 — In 2006, Patel Digitals installed a KODAK NEXPRESS 2100 Plus Digital Production Color Press to generate more business from customers interested in high quality, short run color printing. In just two years, the number and types of digital printing jobs produced by Patel Digitals grew to such high levels that the company placed an order at drupa for three KODAK NEXPRESS S3000 Digital Production Color Presses.

Patel Digitals will use its multiple NEXPRESS Digital Color Presses to distribute print jobs across a network to remote locations. By taking advantage of this opportunity and optimizing the workload on each device, Patel Digitals will expand its reach and open the door to new business and revenue growth in additional areas.
Located in Ahmemabad, India, Patel Digitals serves customers in a range of vertical markets such as pharmaceutical, telecommunications and advertising. Patel Digitals uses NEXPRESS presses for a variety of applications that include collateral, posters, 1:1 marketing and books on demand.
The NEXPRESS S3000 Press produces 3,000 A3 sheets per hour, or 100 A4 pages per minute, for the full range of supported substrate types (coated, uncoated, synthetics, standard offset paper, textured stocks and selected packaging board, labels and films) and weights (60-350 gsm). Maximum sheet capacity totals 11,000 with monthly print volumes of up to 2.2 million pages. The S3000 press combines speed, the unique operator replaceable component service model and an extensive online operator support system to provide outstanding cut sheet productivity to print providers.
