GMC Software Technology, a leader in customer communications and output management solutions, today announced that the company has been positioned as a leader in the recent report by Forrester Research, Inc., titled “The Forrester Wave™: Document Output For Customer Communications Management, Q3 2011.” (September 14, 2011). Based on product evaluations that include vendor and customer interviews, Forrester’s 36-point criteria evaluation of 12 vendors, found improved product capabilities to support structured, interactive and on-demand segments for customer communications. Vendor evaluation criteria were divided into three high-level groups, which included assessment of a vendor’s current offering, strategy, and market presence in the Document Output For Customer Communications Management (DOCCM) market.

Positioning GMC as a leader in DOCCM, the report states “Marketing campaigns still dominate GMC's overall customer base, but GMC is now being viewed for interactive support across all use cases and has become a short-listed vendor in the mainstream market.” The report also grants GMC with one of the highest scores for Authoring and Document Design at 4.40 out of 5 and Business Empowerment at 5 out of 5.
