| CIFEA-DMK Selects GMC Software Technology to Drive Full Color Direct Mail, 1-to-1 Marketing and Web-Enabled Applications |
July 20, 2011–Boston, Massachusetts and Appenzell, Switzerland-- GMC Software Technology, the standard in customer communications, today announced that France-based CIFEA-DMK, has selected GMC Software Technology to drive their client’s full color direct mail, 1-to-1 marketing strategies and web-enabled applications. The GMC solution will reduce CIFEA-DMK’s dependence on multiple file servers and reduce hardware processing time from 2 days to a couple of hours, delivering significant cost savings.
CIFEA-DMK is a provider of direct marketing services offering data processing management, fulfillment and delivery services in France as well as to outside countries. The company was looking to expand their market position, take better advantage of their digital color printing equipment and improve their web-enabled applications, having found that their current software solutions put far too many demands on their development staff and computing hardware.
“Our current software products did little to take advantage of the capabilities of our digital color printing equipment,” said Laurent Bouin, CEO at CIFEA-DMK. “In addition, they required a tremendous amount of computer processing cycles for print spooling and running on multiple file servers. As a result, we experienced significant challenges in meeting service level agreements and optimizing color production”
With GMC Software in place, CIFEA-DMK will be able to take full-advantage of their digital color printing equipment with precise color management, sharp blacks for text rendering and with minimal ink consumption.
