Snap Mackay Installs First Xerox Color 800 Press

First print franchise in Central Queensland to install the Xerox Color 800 press, offering more for its customers

Sydney, Australia – 16 January, 2012 – Fuji Xerox Australia has announced the installation of the Xerox Color 800 Press at Snap Mackay, the first purchase and installation within the Central Queensland region.

Snap Mackay believe the installation of the press will position the business as a market leader, enabling superior product quality and functionality, as well as greater customer satisfaction.

Director of Snap Printing Mackay, Dean De Pinto, said the Xerox Color 800 Press was installed to increase their production capacity and in turn, take on more work. “We were regularly outsourcing work to the Snap network before we decided to bring the work in house. With the installation of the Color 800 press, we are able to keep everything in-house, which has greatly improved business profitability and productivity.”

“Now, not only are we able to deliver jobs on time, we are also able to differentiate our business from other print companies in the Central Queensland region. Fuji Xerox Australia is committed to offering its customers superior products, unparallel service and support and trust, and this was no exception,” concluded De Pinto.

Brett Greenwood, Senior Account Manager of Fuji Xerox Australia, worked closely with the Snap Mackay team to ensure a successful installation of the Xerox Color 800 Press. “We wanted to ensure a seamless installation of the press in order for Snap Mackay to receive all the advantages possible, including better customer satisfaction, reliability and speed and increased productivity,” he said.

The Xerox Color 800 Press is the first of its kind to offer ‘low melt’ EA (Emulsion Aggregation) Dry Ink technology, rather than previous fuser oil based toner, allowing a smooth offset finish on all prints.

The press also has inbuilt advanced colour management technology to enable vivid and consistent colour rendition. The Xerox Color 800 Press supports all paper weights at rated speeds of 80 and 100 ppm, and delivers one of the widest ranges of media handling, from 55 gsm up to 350 gsm.
