Comparting 2011, the Technology Forum for Document and Output Management

[Böblingen, October 28, 2011] – October 17th and 18th in Böblingen – Technological trends and real-world user reports

On November 17th and 18th, the Congress Center in Böblingen outside Stuttgart will once again serve as the gathering place for specialists and users from the field of document and output management.  At Comparting, the annual technology forum from Compart, leading experts will cover the full gamut of relevant issues concerning the creation, processing and output of documents through different channels. At the focus will be current developments in the PDF and XML data formats, use and necessity of barrier-free documents as well as the latest innovations from the Compart lab. White paper production, the creation of documents of any type and any format on completely white paper, will also be a key topic. Harald Grumser, CEO of Compart, will take that opportunity to explore the question of whether companies still even need output management systems in this day and age.

Comparting will also feature application scenarios from leading Compart customers, including AXA Technology Services, the Versicherungskammer Bayern and LVM insurers. The high point of the forum, Compart's seventh, is a podium discussion on technological trends in digital color printing. Hans-Dieter Westhoff, editor-in-chief of postmaster Magazine and proven industry expert, will serve as moderator.

As in previous years, all presentations will be simultaneously interpreted into English for the growing number of international participants. Visitors can also look forward to a return of the “Meet the Experts” exhibit, which will focus on document creation, mailing optimization, E-Postbrief, digital printing, archiving and workflow.  Compart, the Deutsche Post, Océ, Kendox, Kodak and Cartago Software will be on hand.

Background information on Compart

Compart is a leading manufacturer of scalable and platform-independent software solutions for the processing and optimization of documents and data streams from different sources and for all common output channels.

The DocBridge product family enables the flexible and efficient processing of high-volume data streams and documents - they can be prepared for transfer to required output channels such as printers, archives, email, hybrid mail solutions or Web portals. These include solutions for the optimization and conversion of document formats or their modification, the display of these documents, and the comparison of documents with the same content but a different format.

Due to their high degree of vertical integration and independence from operating systems, Compart products also meet superior requirements in terms of reproduction quality, performance and platform-independence. Therefore, Compart products support almost all standard system platforms, from Windows to UNIX or z/OS in the mainframe market segment.

Compart solutions are used in medium and large-scale companies across all industries. The implementation and maintenance of these solutions is guaranteed through accompanying support and consultation services as well as project management by the company’s subsidiaries, Compart Deutschland GmbH, Compart North America Inc., Compart Iberia S.L., Compart Nordic ApS., Compart France S.A.S. and a number of partners.
