IKON Promotes Bruce Fiscus to Area Vice President, Bay Area; 18-year IKON veteran to lead IKON's operations in San Francisco Bay area

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2005--IKON Office Solutions (NYSE:IKN), the world's largest independent channel for document management systems and services, today announced the promotion of Bruce Fiscus, 41, to head its sales and service operations in the Bay Area--comprised of San Francisco and San Jose cities--as area vice president. Fiscus brings 18 years of IKON sales and sales management experience to the position, most recently serving as director of sales in the greater Los Angeles area. Fiscus succeeds Mark Bottini, who was recently promoted to vice president and general manager of IKON's western region.

"Bruce Fiscus knows our business and our customers inside and out," said Brian D. Edwards, senior vice president of North American sales for IKON Office Solutions. "Our sales and service team, and more importantly our customers, will benefit greatly from Bruce's extensive document management experience and passion for service excellence."

Fiscus began his career as a sales professional for Xtec in Philadelphia, Pa., which was later acquired by IKON. After six highly successful years of selling, including salesperson of the year honors, Fiscus was promoted to sales manager--a role in which he also earned top honors. In 1998 Fiscus was promoted to director of sales for IKON's Los Angeles area, where he continued to drive strong results.

"In my 18 years with IKON, I've learned that sales success is directly related to a commitment to consistent, positive interactions with current and prospective customers," said Fiscus. "Our approach is consultative, meaning that we first work with customers to understand their needs and current document workflow. Then we recommend, implement and support a best-in-class document management solution designed specifically to meet their needs. I'm excited to lead and work alongside IKON's Bay Area team as we apply our consultative approach with businesses and organizations across the region."

Fiscus graduated from The Ohio State University in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in communication.
