GASAA’s plans for 2013 are well underway with plenty in the pipeline. As we await Fair Work Australia’s finalisation of our amalgamation with the Printing Industries Association of Australia (Printing Industries) we have been preparing for the transition. Under the new arrangements we We will operate under the name of Graphic Arts Services Australia (GASA) and will be a discrete section within the amalgamated organisation. It will have a focus on the digital, design and creative areas of the industry.

Throughout January, the GASAA staff and many of the Executive Committee have been actively assisting in a rebranding review being conducted by Printing Industries. We also been providing significant input in the refresh of the Printnet and GASAA sectional site. The new look and functionality of both sites will be ready for release in the weeks ahead. We are also putting the finishing touches on the combined events and training calendar for the year.
