| Bell and Howell Focuses on Postal Software and New Advanced Sorting Solutions at National Postal Forum 2013 |
Highlights the Ease of Achieving Benefits from Full-Service IMb and Adding Efficiency to Mailers’ Operations
Durham, N.C., March 18, 2013
– Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for
paper-based and digital messaging, is pleased to once again be
exhibiting at the National Postal Forum (NPF), March 17 through March 20
at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The company will be showcasing
its solutions and expertise in booth 221.
The
Bell and Howell booth will feature the full complement of postal and
ADF software, and its newest sorting system, the Criterion Elevate™. “We
are placing a special emphasis on software in light of SAP’s decision
to discontinue its PostalSoft product and the Full Service Intelligent
Mail® requirements announced by the U.S. Postal Service®,”
said Chris Lien, Vice President of Software Marketing. “We have
excellent options for mailers of all sizes that provide specific and
measurable benefits to them.”
Postal
experts will discuss Bell and Howell’s Postal IQ software, including
industry-leading BCC Mail Manager™. “BCC Mail Manager provides mailers
with the most direct path to Intelligent Mail integration. With no
intermediary plug-ins or workarounds, BCC Mail Manager allows mailers to
quickly achieve the full benefits of Intelligent Mail today,” added
Lien. “This powerful solution delivers all the functionality in a single
program, and that’s important for mailers who want to simplify the
transition from their current postal software to our solution.”
Bell
and Howell is demonstrating its full suite of data quality solutions
that ensure name and address data is kept complete, correct and current,
along with JETVision®, Bell and Howell’s industry-leading quality and integrity control system.
The
Criterion Elevate, Bell and Howell’s newest sorting system, is also
being unveiled at the show. With one of the smallest footprints in the
industry and the utmost ease of portability, the Elevate is designed for
mailers that process low volumes or have seasonal sorting requirements.
The sorting system processes a variety of mail including Vote by Mail
envelopes and mail ballots, incoming or outgoing mail, and flat
mailpieces.
The company is also introducing enhancements to its high-speed Criterion Apex®
sorting system. These improvements enable mailers to easily process
Standard Mail™, which presents unique challenges and is more difficult
to handle than First-Class Mail®. Advances include software upgrades, improved paper handling and robust bins designed for heavy-duty use.
Chris Lien, a popular speaker at NPF, will be presenting two educational sessions this year:
- Decoding the Co’s, Monday, March 18 at 4:30 p.m.
- Your Software is Talking—are You Listening?, Tuesday March 19 at 3 p.m.
