3i Infotech Expands Service Offerings in North America, Consolidates Around Single Brand

Subsidiaries Regulus Group and J&B Software Now Fully Integrated Under 3i Infotech Brand

 
Edison, NJ – November 2, 2010 – 3i Infotech, a global information technology and transaction services company, announced today that it is expanding its service offerings in North America with two distinct business units: Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Global Information Technology Services (GITS). Kathy Hamburger, President of 3i Infotech, North America, will also serve as head of the global BPO group. Som Sarma will continue to head the GITS group globally.
 
Through these business units, 3i Infotech will deliver its advanced technology solutions, deep domain expertise and associated best practices in select vertical markets: banking, financial services, insurance, government, manufacturing, retail, telecom, education, healthcare and utilities.
 
The BPO group offers end-to-end outsourcing, software, services and solutions, with a particular expertise in the complete revenue chain lifecycle, including billing and remittance processing, document management, electronic transaction services, data and information management and more. The group has its roots in J&B Software and Regulus Group, two pioneering transaction technology and processing companies that 3i Infotech acquired in 2007 and 2008, respectively, and that are now fully integrated under the 3i Infotech brand. The completion of this integration improves 3i Infotech’s competitive position, streamlining operations for cost and performance efficiencies and expanding the types and quality of services that 3i Infotech can offer customers.
 
The GITS business unit is expanding its presence and service offerings in North America as well, leveraging a history of success, experience and innovative delivery in Western Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia/Pacific. GITS specializes in business intelligence, application development, infrastructure management, testing, security and IT staffing. All technologies and solutions are customized by vertical market and built to ease initial and ongoing IT burdens for organizations.
