Manager, Sales & Marketing Operations – Richmond Hill, ON
SUMMARY OF POSITION DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the VP Sales and the Director, Marketing this role requires a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual. The ideal candidate must have 4 to 5 years of hands-on sales administration and marketing experience.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales and marketing co-ordinator, the overall integrity of Xenos’ databases, online and offline campaigns, and Sales and Marketing initiatives.
Experience should include database management, customer development/nurturing, events management, and customer-centric campaign development and execution. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with cross-departmental global peers including Marketing, IS, Professional Services as well as members of the Xenos management team. The candidate should be extremely organized, have good time management skills and be able to seamlessly move between tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Generation and CRM management of Direct Campaigns
- Monitor data integrity ensuring that all business processes related to customer data creation and segmentation are accurate, effective and in line with Xenos department objectives and mandates
- Manage and monitor customer data in SalesForce.com
- Database Marketing – develop proactive, outbound database and email marketing campaigns to Xenos’ existing database of customers, prospects, and leads
- Monitor program progress, measure results and provide recommendations as required
- Customer survey development and process management
- Monthly metrics reporting and scorecard development
Plan and Budget Management and Reporting
- General administration
- Creating and tracking of purchase orders
- Budgeting and reconciliation
Collateral Management & Development
- Execute production of collateral, premium incentives, etc. working with in-house graphic designer and external vendors as required
Events
- Provide recommendation, budget planning, pre-post marketing campaigns, execution, and post show audit
- Provide on-site support as required
- Event management including booth panel creation, booth shipment, bills of lading, electrical orders, furniture orders, computer equipment orders, lead retrieval systems orders, carpet orders, enroll Xenos staff who will be attending in the booth
- Identify targeted events and plan Xenos participation to ensure objectives successfully met, working with marketing staff
Search Engine Marketing (Google Adwords)
- Work with webmaster and outside vendor (as required) to ensure timely delivery of reports, analytics, metrics and updates to campaigns
- CRM management – Execution, tracking, and reporting of lead generation campaigns to generate awareness of Xenos and its products and solutions
- Assist with sales collateral message development and copy creation and coordination of sales team presence/participation at trade shows, conferences, exhibits, speaking engagements, etc.
- Assist in developing and maintaining website landing pages and microsites for marketing campaigns
- Close liaison with international locations
Print and Online Media for Demand Generation and Branding

Execute print and online media campaigns to generate qualified leads for revenue growth and branding
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or College diploma in Marketing Management or Business Administration or equivalent business experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in a B2B sales administrative/operations role; previous experience with technology or information management organizations an asset
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and an excellent command of the English language
- Tradeshow/Event management
- Database Marketing, SalesForce.com, or other CRM experience
- Lyris and/or other email campaign management tools
- Google adwords experience an asset
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency with entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated and quality-driven with attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and communications skills
- Excellent project management, organizational and decision-making skills
- Team player with interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Working competence in French, Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese an asset
- Ability to multi-task and work with attention to detail in a very fast-paced international team-oriented environment
