Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will drive the successful execution of programs to over achieve targets for the assigned Océ Monochrome TDS (Technical Documentation Systems) products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Corporate (manufacturing, utilities, government, transportation) and AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) markets including business needs, key players, and competition
• Develop and implement marketing plans to ensure grow placement in these markets while maintaining the successful placements within the AEC market
• Act as national "product expert / business strategist" and resource to the sales organization for major sales and highly competitive situations
• Work closely with the Strategic Market group to increase placements in key strategic accounts
• Manage the life cycle of all assigned products including inventory management and remanufacture programs
• Effectively communicate plans to Sales and senior management
• Develop an overall promotional programs for assigned products
• Participate in the training of new hires and sales, including resellers
• Manage product launches, as required, by coordinating efforts of all involved departments in conjunction with Program Managers
• Provide management with product feedback and development issues for product updates, modifications, and future product development
• Work with entire Océ North America Marketing staff to support all products and marketing efforts as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree, business or marketing preferred, MBA a plus
• A thorough understanding of the document printing market related to the target vertical markets
• Sales experience is a plus
• Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Interact on a day to day basis with customers and the sales force to develop business relationships
• Ability to build relationships with, and work across, all departments within the organization to ensure tasks are completed correctly in a timely manner
• Working knowledge of multiple functional areas including service, supplies, order entry, logistics and finance
• Experience in launch and post - launch marketing preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technological concepts, including hardware, software and customer applications, in a coherent way with impact
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to analyze and develop complex financial plans for product positioning, pricing, etc.
• Ability to meet/exceed deadlines, prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
• Travel as needed to support nationwide sales force and customer base
