GENERAL SUMMARY

Designs, codes, tests, and maintains application programs of medium complexity using VB.Net, VB script, and SQL server and ASP. Net. Provides user support for installed systems. Performs basic DOC1 application development.  Troubleshoots production problems. Operates under general direction and with latitude for independent judgment. This position reports to the Programming Manager.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Design, code, test and maintain application programs
2.    Creation and maintenance of documentation for systems
3.    Analyze and debug problems with production systems and software
4.    Become familiar with OSG processing system
5.    Expand knowledge of programming techniques and SQL databases

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

·      2+ years experience.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or trade school degree in related discipline
·      Experience with VB.Net, VB script and SQL. Exposure to ASP.Net and/ or XML a plus
·      Technical aptitude and computer literacy
·      Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
·      Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
·      Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
·      Excellent attention to detail and quality control focus
