Requirements
This is an exciting time to join OSG! We are currently seeking a full time- permanent Senior Marketing Coordinator responsible for leading the marketing departments efforts in the areas of media/public relations, writing marketing communication and creative conceptualization.
This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills and the ability to work autonomously. The ideal candidate will be able to handle high-pressure situations, eager to learn and posses the ability to work within tight deadlines. This position is located in Englewood, NJ.
- Establish relationships with key media contacts to enhance the coverage of media properties including news releases and expert commentaries.
- Developing innovative marketing communications and promotional materials.
- Writing and placing targeted articles in select trade journals.
- Creation of case studies, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations and media kits, direct mail, and sales tools.
- Overseeing the advertising design, schedule and budget.
- Assisting the Director of Marketing with implementation of key marketing plans.
- Provide reports and track project status, key milestones, and marketing budget.
- Supervise content, design and tracking of the Company's Website.
- Approximately 50% of the job is writing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communications with approximately 4-5 years of relevant hands on experience.
- Writing: able to author, edit or review, proposals, presentations and other materials.
- Working knowledge of media relations.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized to meet project and day-to-day objectives.
- High degree of computer literacy.
