Question:
I know I can define my SETUNITS command at the beginning of may page definition and that I can specify a different SETUNITS command if I want a particular block of PRINTLINES to be defined with a different unit of measurement or line spacing value. If I specify a second SETUNITS command, for a specific group of PRINTLINES and do not specify another SETUNITS command for any subsequent PRINTLINES, does measurement and/or line spacing revert to the original SETUNITS command or the prior SETUNITS command?
Answer:
If no SETUNITS command is specified after the initial SETUNITS command (specified as the very first command in the page definition) then that SETUNITS command will be used throughout the page definition including all pageformats where no additional SETUNITS commands are defined.
If you specify a SETUNITS command to address a specific group of PRINTLINES, then that SETUNITS command will be active for all subsequent commands and subcommands. Only the invocation of another SETUNITS command can override a previous SETUNITS command and any SETUNITS command invoked becomes the default SETUNITS command.
