The AFP Color Consortium (AFPCC), which was formed in October, 2004 and was focused on developing the AFP Color Management Architecture (ACMA), was transitioned to the AFP Consortium (AFPC) in September, 2006. The scope of this consortium is now the complete Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) architecture, which comprises the following data stream and data object architectures:
- Mixed Object Document Content (MO:DCA) Architecture; formerly referred to as AFPDS
- Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS) Architecture
- AFP Line Data Architecture
- Bar Code Object Content Architecture (BCOCA)
- Color Management Object Content Architecture (CMOCA)
- Font Object Content Architecture (FOCA)
- Graphics Object Content Architecture for AFP (AFP GOCA)
- Image Object Content Architecture (IOCA)
- Presentation Text Object Content Architecture (PTOCA)
 The AFPC today released new versions of the MO:DCA and IPDS references.
The new MO:DCA reference defines the AFP IS/3 interchange set; the new IPDS reference defines how an IPDS printer indicates IS/3 compliance. [2011-08-03]
